I’m excited that you are thinking about using locally grown flowers for your upcoming wedding. I know that you probably have a lot of things to organise and think about for your Big Day, so lets get to it:

The flowers are all grown on my flower farm in Bradford on Avon using organic growing methods and the flowers that I harvest for DIY wedding buckets are speciality blooms. Usually used by event florists, they really are something special.

Your wedding flowers will be a ‘growers choice’ of the best selection of what is blooming at the time. If you have a specific colour theme please let me know as soon as possible. If you have reserved your wedding flowers far enough in advance I can usually work with you to provide flowers in a colour palette of your choice by growing them especially for your wedding. Please let me know if there are any colours or flowers that you really don’t want at your wedding and I will do my best to accommodate.

Note: I will not be able to guarantee specific flower varieties, due to the unpredictability of the weather/bloom time. If you are set on having a specific flower on your wedding day then I am not the right flower supplier for you. To have the guarantee of a specific flower on your wedding day you will need to use imported flowers.

A DIY wedding flower bucket is £100. This will contain a minimum of 60 stems of flowers/foliage/grasses.

A rough guide to how many blooms you might need for your wedding:

Bridal bouquet 40-50 stems

Bridesmaid bouquet 30 stems

Buttonholes 5-10 stems

Jam jars 10-15 stems

Vases 30-40 stems

DIY wedding packages are a minimum of two buckets and I require £50 non-refundable deposit to “Save the Date” which will allow me to invest in the right seeds and bulbs for your big day. The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before your wedding date, when confirmation on the number of flower buckets will be needed, along with a collection/delivery time agreed.

Buckets of flowers can be collected from Cicely Flowers in Bradford on Avon. If you’d like your flowers to be delivered please let me know the location and I can give you a delivery quote. I advise that flowers should be delivered/collected 1-2 days before your wedding.

When you collect your flowers you will need to bring your own clean buckets to take them away in or you can borrow mine by paying a refundable deposit and returning them the following week.

After paying your deposit and “Saving your Date”, you will receive a discount to use on a DIY bucket which will enable you to practise arranging your flowers before your wedding day.

So, how does that sound? Get in touch if you’d like to chat more. Alicia
